Wine and Wishes
 
The 4th Annual Wine and Wishes event will focus on the best talents the culinary world has to offer while celebrating and supporting the powerful impact that a magical wish has on a child.  Set in the dramatic and unique setting of Treasure Island, Wine and Wishes highlights extraordinary chefs and winemakers and provides culinary enthusiasts an exceptional experience.  Wine and Wishes 2004 sold out two months in advance!  Wine and Wishes has become the hottest ticket in the Bay Area culinary set. Don't miss out! The Croquet Invitational and Charity Auction
The graceful and picturesque croquet lawns of Sonoma-Cutrer are the backdrop for The Croquet Invitational and Charity Auction. More than 800 wine, croquet, food enthusiasts and philanthropists will be wearing their croquet whites to watch an exhibition match with local professional croquet players and wish children. An extraordinary catalog of wine, specialty items, and unique travel excursions are auctioned off in this premier wine country event.

4th Annual Tim Hudson Charity Golf Classic*
The Tim Hudson Charity Golf Classic takes place at the Contra Costa Country Club in Pleasant Hill. Tim Hudson, starting pitcher for the Oakland A's and his wife Kim will continue to demonstrate their continual support to the Bay Area community by hosting this golf tournament which benefits the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Wish Foundation. Lion King & Beach Blanket Babylon Benefit Show, "Hooray for Hollywood"*
Join the cast members of Disney's The Lion King and Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon at a benefit show titled Hooray for Hollywood. These talented performers are putting on a special one night performance to raise money for Make-A-Wish. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit our local chapter. There isn't a better way to spend an evening enjoying a great performance while also supporting Make-A-Wish. Tickets are $50 and $25 and can be purchased by calling the box office at 415-421-4222.  View the event invitation or event poster for further details.

The POC is proud to share the power of their racecars in order to Share the Power of a Wish®. Come watch 125 Porsches and other race-prepared cars racing side-by-side and wheel-to-wheel on the breathtaking Laguna Seca road course. The event includes testing a Sprint race on Saturday and an Endurance Race on Sunday. The paddock area is open to spectators who are interested in having the opportunity to see the great cars close up and meet the owners and drivers. Also, during each lunch hour of the 3 days the Laguna Seca track is open to "civilian" vehicles to drive several parade laps for the cost of a donation to Make-A-Wish. Touring laps of the track will be available along with the daily entry tickets. Tickets are sold at the track, with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Driftwood Yacht Club Cruise*
Now in its 17th year, this event features cocktails, hors doeuvres and a leisurely cruise on the Delta. A silent auction, dinner and additional festivities follow the cruise. More than 300 yachting aficionados enjoy this event.

Mr. Pee Wee Tennis Benefit*

"Help Make A Child's Dream Come True" at the Mr. Pee Wee Tennis Benefit held by the Pacific Athletic Club. This two-day event will include a Black Tie Dinner Dance and a Pro-Am Tennis Tournament featuring legendary "world class" players will be held at Pacific Athletic Club in Redwood Shores the following day. Monterey Bay Gala The Monterey Peninsula's premier black tie event!  This black-tie gala will feature an elegant dinner, dancing, as well as live and silent auctions.  


Bowl-Across-The-Bay

Our 14th Annual Bowl-A-Thon event will be the final celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Two consecutive Saturdays in November will see over six hundred energized folks enjoying neon lights, glowing balls, rock-n-roll music and bowling fun. Friends, families and co-workers are encouraged to collect pledges and potentially "strike" it rich for Make-A-Wish.  To reserve your lane at either Sea Bowl on November 6 or Clayton Valley Bowl on November 13, download our bowler registration form for the event.   FAX or mail this form in today!  Start raising funds for wishes now!  To record your donations download our donation record form.
